Which coffee do we use?
A washed arabica from the Red Ecolsierra cooperative in Colombia, 100% organic, 100% fairtrade und 100% specialty coffee.
Good to know:This coffee was decaffeinated by CR3 in Bremen. The company is one of the few in the world that decaffeinates coffee using a particularly gentle and natural process. It uses subcritical carbon dioxide (CO2). In this process, the caffeine is extracted from the bean over several days using low temperatures and pressure. This reduces the caffeine content from around 1.4% to 0.08% without significantly altering the structure of the bean and, consequently, the flavour.
